Kristin and Rob are an amazing couple. Although they live elsewhere now, they are actually from the Jim Thorpe area. They met in kindergarten and went to school here together through high school graduation. I don't think we've ever worked with a couple who has known each other that long. When I think of all the awkward moments over my grade school years (and shudder), it impresses me even more that these two are together!
They are also pretty inspiring. While we've all been running for the AC these last few weeks, Kristin and Rob have been hitting the trails. I'll go ahead and admit it here that I've looked on their Facebook updates with envy as they post about their adventures in the woods. We love to hike, but since we became parents, Josh and I don't get to the woods nearly as often as we'd like to. It was this shared love of hiking that led Josh to suggest that they check out the mountain top where we got married as part of the engagement shoot.
