Dan and Bin-Bin's
wedding at the Merion Tribute House
{wedding photography near Philadelphia}
I (Amber) photographed Bin-Bin and Dan's day solo. I got to know them way back in February when they came to Jim Thorpe for their engagement shoot. You might recall the very cute archery concept that they incorporated for their save-the-date photos. We had a great time and I was definitely looking forward to shooting their wedding at the Merion Tribute House.
What a beautiful location! Nestled at the end of a dead-end street in a lovely Main Line neighborhood, the historic Merion Tribute House makes quite an impression. In addition to the lovely grounds and building, I was impressed that Bin-Bin crafted a lot of the details of the day herself including the bouquets and boutonnieres, center pieces, and other floral arrangements. She also gave a nod to her Chinese heritage by incorporating the color red and including handcrafted origami cranes and fans among the details. Bin-Bin and Dan were also in good hands thanks to Sage Catering, whose food is a feast for the eyes as well as the palette.
Thank you Bin-Bin and Dan for trusting me to capture the story of your day. Your confidence in me (especially considering my "delicate condition") was greatly appreciated:-) And thank you Leandra Green Kenny for being my sidekick and assistant extraordinaire. A couple of your shots made it to the preview below (I believe the wide shot of the ceremony and the shot of BB dancing to Gangnam Style, both b/w). And I am much obliged to you for braving the rose bushes to provide lighting support on the night shots. Looking forward to the next time!
