Erin and Marc's wedding at Willow Valley Resort

Erin and Marc were married Labor Day weekend at Willow Valley Resort in Lancaster. They were guests at a wedding we shot last year and we're flattered that they thought highly enough of our work to invite us to capture their wedding. Although they had already done an engagement shoot, they took the time to come up to see us in Jim Thorpe for a short and sweet engagement session with us to get warmed up for the big day. Erin and Marc did a lot to lay the groundwork for a fabulous wedding day. When in the planning stages they had this to say:
We are do-it-your-selfers, or at least we try to be. We made the centerpieces, favors, place card settings, and even ALL the candles ourselves. We also made our own slideshow of pictures throughout our childhood and through our relationship. We tend to be a simple couple and try to incorporate a little of ourselves & our simplicity throughout the wedding. We 1st became "official" as a couple at Hershey Park on the Kissing Tower-- yes the kissing tower. We are incorporating Hershey Kisses into our favors. Erin's favorite color is purple-- so it was an automatic given our colors would be a purple of some kind for the wedding. Believe it or not, Marc was the original idea creator for both favors and centerpieces! On the date of our wedding August 30, 2014, we will have been engaged for exactly 1 year and dating 5 years and 8 months.
It was a beautiful day! Thank you Erin and Marc for trusting us to be your photographers. Scroll on to check out some of our favorite moments from the day!

Pictures are a way of essentially saving memories! This has always been very important to me-- this is why I have millions of photos!! When we were searching for a photographer for our wedding, we wanted quality, professionalism, and value! Josh & Amber are just that! We first met them at a friend's wedding. We were blown away by the pictures that they blogged about. It truly told the story of the whole day. The pictures were well edited and just plain AWESOME! Photography was something we did splurge on, but we knew it was more than worth it! We were nervous to go with anyone else; not knowing what we would get as an end product. We initially met via phone and then again for our engagement picture session. My husband and I are not the most photogenic persons to begin with, but you would NEVER know! The pictures they got for our engagement session alone turned out so well!! I never once doubted that our photos wouldn't turn out for the wedding. Josh and Amber are a dynamic duo to say the least! They both have visions--not always the same-- but they work so well together and get so many great shots!! They are very knowledgeable about photography, lighting, poses, and natural shots. Their quality of services, professionalism and flexibility were great! Out of all our vendors, we had no problems with them and their service. Because of their knowledge, they were able to give us a lot of advice about the timing of photos, which photos to get, and what is most important. They are very responsive, which is important when you have a lot of questions (which I did) and do not live close by (which we don't). We got our initial sneak peak and blog within a month or so from our wedding date. We also got all of our proofs before their 2 month contract. Our album was finalized, submitted, and received 3 1/2 months after our wedding! Everything worked out so well! The pictures are great and all of our friends and family are equally as happy and excited!
