This is the second post in our Oregon wedding photography series. Now is a popular time to book wedding photography in Oregon, so Josh and I are blogging about our favorite wedding venues in Oregon to give interested brides and grooms an idea of what is out there. The last post was on vineyard weddings in Oregon and we showed a few examples of Oregon vineyard wedding photography. This post focuses on a less common wedding venue in Oregon, a hotel on the Oregon Coast that hosts weddings- the Hotel Elliot. The Hotel Elliot, an Astoria hotel on the register of national historic landmarks, is a charming venue for weddings of 50 or fewer guests. From start to finish, the wedding featured in this entry took place within the hotel. With the weather on the coast being so unpredictable, it is wise to plan an Oregon coast wedding at a site that has plenty of indoor accommodations. So here is an example of Oregon coast wedding photography, with the coast no where in sight!

What a great post - I love shooting weddings at the Hotel Elliott!
I also enjoy shooting at any of the McMenamins historical properties, which are scattered throughout Oregon and Washington. They have great charm, and the customer service is great. What a beautiful place we live in!
