Marlo and Brock's
wedding at Blue Mountain Resort
Marlo met Brock through his best friend, Zach, who was a school counselor where Marlo teaches. She is a high school English Teacher for Baltimore County and Brock is a tugboat dispatcher. Marlo said, "It was totally random and unplanned, but Zach swears he knew we were perfect for each other and was getting around to introducing us." Zach ended up being the best man at their wedding.Marlo says they chose Blue Mountain as their wedding venue because they fell in love with the view. She said, "It was the first and only venue that we saw. Emily Gerber, our coordinator, and the view sold us instantly. It was perfect." However, they had to enjoy the view on their wedding day primarily from inside since it rained almost nonstop throughout their event. No matter to these love birds and their guests; an amazing time was had by all!
Perhaps the most special part of their wedding day was their first dance. Neil Young is one of our favorite artists and theirs too! Marlo and Brock chose to dance to "Harvest Moon," which apparently they've danced to together in their kitchen many times. Everyone's eyes were on them and their wedding party showered them in glow sticks at the end. It was a magical and fun way to begin the night.
Thank you Marlo and Brock for trusting Josh to capture your wedding day. Scroll on to check out some of our favorite moments.
