wedding at Ledges Hotel
Susan and Joe had a family-melding winter wedding at Ledges Hotel in Hawley, PA. They each had two children already when they met and they just had another together making them a family of 7! I got to meet the whole crew a month before the wedding when I shot their family portraits in Hawley. They worked with celebrant Alisa Tongg to craft a meaningful and memorable ceremony. Although it was cold and rainy outside, guests were snug and warm at their fireside ceremony. Michael (the florist) and the Ledges crew did a great job creating a beautiful backdrop within this already stellar location.
While in the planning stages, Susan had this to say:
We envision our intimate wedding to be an "earthy glam winter wonderland." We're using a lot of gray tones with candles, branches, pine cones, drift wood, white/ivory flowers, and gray berries. Ideally we would like to create a warm romantic atmosphere for our family and close friends.I (Amber) shot this one solo (with some assistance from Josh).
