Clare and Niall's
wedding reception at Woodloch
Clare and Niall were married on a day quite the opposite of the one pictured in these photos. They had an intimate backyard wedding on a sunny day last summer. Roughly six months later, they chose to host a reception in celebration of their new marriage, a larger party which included many more of their nearest and dearest. Clare called to see if we were available to do some family and group portraits for an hour or so and I said I (Amber) would do it myself only if they were interested in doing a creative/romantic portrait session with just the two of them as part of the experience. They were game! Clare was so friendly on the phone sharing that they are from Brooklyn, Niall is Irish and a professional musician - and other little details that made me excited to be a part of their day. And much as I expected I would, I had a wonderful time shooting this very warm (no pun intended since it was a bit cold!), very in-love couple and their guests.
