wedding at Saint Peter and Paul's Church in Lehighton, PA
wedding reception at the Mauch Chunk Museum in Jim Thorpe, PA
Carol and Joe had a warm winter wedding in Jim Thorpe just a few short weeks ago. I say it was warm because the genuine love and affection between the couple and their guests made us forget how cold it was outside! The day started at the picture perfect Minnie Victoria B&B where Carol and her crew got ready. Joe and the guys got ready at a hotel near an old barn that we've been wanting to shoot at for some time, and they were glad to indulge us. The ceremony at SSPP church was nice. We liked how the light played through the south facing windows to occasionally add some drama to the photos. Carol and Joe's friends and family pitched in to help make their day perfect. Carol's MOH's mother did an excellent job on the flowers. The cake and catering were handled by local restaurant Molly Macguire's, who employed Carol and her siblings when they were growing up in the JT area. Carol and her family crafted the winter inspired center pieces for the tables at the reception. And Carol's mother Reyna (head of alterations for David's Bridal in Allentown) did an amazing job customizing Carol's dress to include sleeves and a matching overcoat.
Thanks for trusting us to tell the story of your day, Carol and Joe! It was a pleasure:-)
