Our last wedding in Oregon this year brought us back to the coast. We love photographing weddings in Yachats. It is our favorite town on the Oregon Coast. We stopped for lunch at the Green Salmon, the best cafe in Yachats, before heading off to the wedding at the Adobe Resort.
The Oregon Coast is notorious for its unpredictable weather and Julie and Brian could not have had a more beautiful day. Calm ocean breezes kept the warm sun from getting too hot. It was perfect.
Check out some of our favorite photos. The ceremony was over an hour long and full of many emotional moments. There were two details we've never seen that accounted for some of those chosen below- 1) Julie's father had the honor of giving her away and performing the marriage ceremony. 2) Julie and Brian shared communion with their guests. The sunset portraits are stunning too. We always recommend going for a walk with our couples around sunset. The light and mood usually come together to yield some of our favorite photos.
